The Meaning<\/h1>\n

\u201cTest the waters\u201d means to try something in a small way. Just like \u201ctry your hand at<\/a>,\u201d it usually means to try something for the first time.<\/p>\n

How do we use it<\/h1>\n

We use this expression as a sentence, or as part of a sentence. And, as I said above, the tense must be correct.<\/p>\n
